Cook It, Eat It, Love It

Cooking in the Coyote Den

Publisher Description

The students in Mr. Sandhu's grade 5/6 class created this cookbook as a final project in their Language Arts class.  Students were learning how to create effective instructional writing, how to use adverbs to improve their writing skills, and how to romanticize their food description to make it sound more appealing to a global audience.

This cookbook contains delicious recipes for appetizers, sides dishes, entrees, and desserts.  Each recipe contains photos taken by students, step-by-step instructions on how to cook the food, and a short explanation of what the recipe tastes like.

Additional features of this cookbook include a glossary section containing some of the adverbs used in the recipes and an introduction video made by the class that explains the different aspects of the project.

Mr. Sandhu and his class really enjoyed integrating language arts with technology and bringing this fantastic cooking resources to your homes.  We hope you enjoy each recipe as much as we did.
