Cornish Feasts and Folk-lore

The Cornish year - the guise dancers, the furry day, the harvest cry, the wells and the piskies - recorded by a Penzance woman among her own people while the tin mines were still working. This edition binds sixty plates of painting with the text, among them works by Samuel Shelley, John William Waterhouse and Joshua Cristall.
