Ahhh
I need another edition of The Corpse Whisperer & Little Allie. This book is everything I love & nothing I hate-enough sarcasm, action, grit and new catch phrases to fill, well...my own brain b*tch LOL! Kept me laughing but not crying(thankfully!). Left me hanging on every page instead on yawning when some authors get lost in the things that don’t matter. I love love love this series and will be at Allie’s beckon call when the 3rd edition comes alive! Rise book 3 riseee!
Love this series, but…
I honestly loved this series, and it made the perfect beach reading this week. I look forward to the next installment. My only problem, and one I knocked off a star for, is the political commentary of the book. I can get the ACLU as bad guys supporting undead rights; I can deal with the references to “bleeding heart liberals”; but “Zombie Lives Matter?” This seems a trivialization if the Black Lives Matter movement and possibly an expression of the author’s political views, and it definitely took away from the enjoyment of the story for me.
