She sees and hears things nobody would believe. With a year left before leaving for University and content with her mundane life, Mariana remained silent. Unfortunately, her decision to stay quiet results in the secrets of Phoenix Corp. changing her life in ways she never imagined.

She becomes trapped in Victorian era England where every corner hides another secret; aliens fight for dominance, a wily gatekeeper who may be friend or foe and a voiceless young boy from an unknown time who needs her help.
