On her fortieth birthday, she’s expecting a marriage proposal. Instead, he tells her he’s going back to his ex-wife.


Zoe Caufield has everything she wants in life: a terrific teaching job, her best friend Cassie Lansing and a terrific guy to boot. She’s a hard worker and though she’s been fortunate to come from money, she understands the nature of troubled teens. But when her beau gives her the news that he’s going back with his ex, she’s thrown for a loop. She goes to Paris to recover.


Kurt Lansing runs a clinic in the city where he’s able to help the hard-core kids and adults. Having survived a horrific marriage and a messy divorce, he’s found true love in a wonderful woman.
