Count the Animals

This is a cute book with cute animals. How ever, the majority of the groups are either four or five animals. There isn’t a lot of counting variety. But if you are a K teacher looking for something to review the numbers four and five, check out this book.

This exquisitely crafted counting book proved to be quite the challenge, even for an experienced mathematician. With a variety of animals and amounts of them, this book will keep you invested in the interesting storyline. Each page will have you wanting more, right up until the plot twist/ cliffhanger at the end. I hope to see part two soon!

Good book to read with kids age 4 years old
