Counterattack

Thrilling, emotionally appealing, historical, and masterful storytelling.

Counterattack was boring

I skipped through 3/4 of the book with the hope that it would become interesting. No such luck.

Counterattack

Well written, with great character development. The author could back off from treating women in the novel as purely sex objects.
As a whole the novel is easy reading, follows history without too much embellishment, I would recommend it to a non history major.
