Country Clubbed

Piper O’Donnell’s big dream of becoming a celebrity has finally come true. Too bad she had to find a dead body to make it happen. Piper––Woodlawn Country Club’s notorious society clubber––becomes entangled in a political mess when she finds the body of State Representative Gus Barnes in the ladies’ locker room, apparently beaten to death with a golf club. Overnight, Piper becomes a media sensation, with reporters hounding her for newsworthy tidbits. But when an anonymous blogger implicates Piper in the murder, she enlists the help of her sexy private eye boyfriend Rusty, and her ever-reliable sister Penelope to help set the record straight and find the killer. Unfortunately, that may be hard to do. There’s an overabundance of suspects to choose from at the Woodlawn Country Club––and all of them know how to wield a golf club.
