But when it comes to passion, nothing is ever simple…
With the snowstorm kicking into overdrive, Sunny and Wade hunker down in a cave and barely resist the urge to keep each other warm… until they discover the frozen remains of a horrific crime… Unable to trust the local police force, Sunny and Wade investigate, while their irresistible passion for each other gets them more and more dangerously entangled…
"When you read Catherine Mann you… get nonstop action, nail-biting suspense, and heart-stopping romance." —The Romance Studio
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Mann (Renegade) delivers plenty of thrills and charged erotic situations with this first in a new series featuring pararescue men, elite U.S. Air Force heroes ready for tense "land, sea, or mountain, military missions or civilian rescue" around the globe. Tech Sgt. Wade Rocha parachutes onto Alaska's icy Mt. Redoubt to save a woman he thinks is stranded, but gorgeous Sunny Foster's survival training is as good as his own. Sunny has no interest in being "rescued"; she lives in a secret, self-sustaining community of people with very good reasons for avoiding the authorities. When someone takes potshots at Sunny and she and Wade discover bodies in the ice, they must carefully negotiate their growing desire and friendship while searching for the killer. Fans of military romantic suspense will welcome this infodump-heavy but bracing thriller with a strong-willed heroine and sensitive, hard-bodied hero.

PJ Warriors
I absolutely loved this book from start to finish. The first chapter has the reader hooked on what is going on with Sunny. Wade seems thru her refusal to answer questions and it was a page turner. PJ’s are military heroes.

Favorite part was the cover. Too wordy and without warmth. Got bored really fast.
