Better than the Fearless series!!
Yup! I so went there. I love the passion, strength, emotion and intensity of the characters and their situations. I felt transported to their world and watching as a voyeur only in a non-pervy way. Well okay it was totally pervy with those sex scenes. Holy cow, hot tamale! Of course the writing style continues to kick butt. Yes I loved it when the female did not go all dingbat ditsy stupid. Love it. Love it. Love it.
Tormented all through high school by hottie Connie Hughes, Electra Warmoth hated him. Never in her seven years post high school would she meet up with Conner. Same thought crossed Conner's mind about Electra. Building her reputation as a journalist and freelancing her work for Trending Magazine, Electra is sent on a job to interview top romance cover model, Conner. Only thing she didn't know was, that this was the exact same Conner from high school. Let's just describe their reunion to fireworks and explosions both good and bad. Loads of anger, lust, hate, hurt and even love. Reading about these two and the other people we meet in her attempts to get an interview, it enhances their relationship and allows us the readers an in depth view of them. I truly enjoyed reading Cover Model. I chuckled at Devon's other references to his other novels he had written like Stepbrother Obsessed and the appearance of Romeo Fabiano of his series Fearless with Samantha Smith. Btw all are good reads.
Be prepared to be transported for several hours on a ride you do not want to finish until it is truly over. Another success, Devon Hartford.

One minute you hate Connor (the leading man) & the next you are falling in love with him...only for you to hate him again, but don't worry you love him again as well.
Electra, is the leading lady, and is a relatable character who was picked on throughout high school by Connor, therefore everyone else. 7 yrs later they meet up again...and an emotional roller coaster follows.
I love how Romeo Fabiano, coifed black faux-hawk, black "Matrix" vinyl trench coat & of course, his trusty monocle make an appearance (he is from an earlier series - Samantha Smith).
