Publisher Description
"I bought you to be my whore."
Hendrix Parker lost it all four years ago. Angry at the world, he's become an asshole—a bitter shell of the man his family once loved. A recluse, he's now forced to leave his sanctuary in the Florida Keys and become an active member of the real estate development community he now dominates.
The problem is he's all alone and needs a buffer. Someone to draw attention away from him...
Beau Carter is young, beautiful, and with a bright future ahead of her. Her dreams of becoming the first woman in her family to graduate from college are just within grasp when the financial aid runs out. Up to her eyeballs in debt, she works night and day to make ends meet, but even that can only last for so long.
A contract. Six Months. The catch?
All I have to do is become a sugar baby to a very rich man—one that I want to punch and throw myself at all on the same breath.

You’ll be craving sugar
This one is something else. Hendrix is the epitome of an alphahole. He had his swoon worthy moments that hit all the right buttons for a possessive dominant man. He had way more moments that made me want to punch him in the throat.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book but he did not deserve Beau, at all. He didn’t deserve her forgiveness after the way he spoke to her and he never truly understood her. He never even tried.
I’m going to guess the author felt it wouldn’t have been in his nature to grovel and that’s fair. However, he should have done *something* to make amends for his behavior. Having a dead wife that you were about to divorce anyway doesn’t give you a pass to call the woman you supposedly love “a wh@re I just pay to f*ck”.
I have to give it four stars for all the ruthless amazing alpha moments he gave us that made my heart race. Can’t go for 5 though because he didn’t deserve to be forgiven so easily.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Couldn’t put it down!
Absolutely sinfully amazing!
Worth it
It was such a good book! Chemistry off the charts ! Loved trying to figure out why he was so moody and when you do it just ties the whole book together !
