Are they crazy-in-love or is their relationship just plain crazy?
Public humiliation at the hands of her surgeon boyfriend leaves ER nurse Zoe Inglot determined to avoid wealthy men. When MMA fighter Mike Daughtry invites her for drinks, Zoe doesn't realize she's breaking her new rule.
'Lucky' Mike Daughtry began his professional fight career after stepping back from his family's multi-billion dollar real estate empire. When he learns of Zoe's declaration, he decides to keep his background secret.
Secret… until their exotic beach vacation ends with an unexpected pregnancy, which kicks off a series of surprise revelations for a young couple from the same city but completely different worlds.
Zoe's willing to forgive the lie, but can they live with the truth?
Despite a bit of sloppy editing - looks like autocorrect was given free rein - the writing is good and the story flows. The female protagonist is stupidly stubborn about her view of the world and what‘s acceptable. Mighty irritating, since this crops up in every other romance book. I‘d love to see some authors get creative and find real life / realistic conflicts that don‘t just smack of obstinacy and immaturity. This heroine, however, does grow and the last part of the book is believable and real.
