A LibraryReads Hall of Fame Title
A hacktivist and a cat café owner decode the friend zone in this romantic comedy from the author of Undercover Bromance.
Alexis Carlisle and her cat café, ToeBeans, have shot to fame after she came forward as a victim of a celebrity chef’s sexual harassment. When a new customer approaches to confide in her, the last thing Alexis expects is for the woman to claim they’re sisters. Unsure what to do, Alexis turns to the only man she trusts—her best friend, Noah Logan.
Computer genius Noah left his rebellious teenage hacker past behind to become a computer security expert. Now he only uses his old skills for the right cause. But Noah’s got a secret: He’s madly in love with Alexis. When she asks for his help, he wonders if the timing will ever be right to confess his crush.
Noah’s pals in The Bromance Book Club are more than willing to share their beloved “manuals” to help him go from bud to boyfriend. But he must decide if telling the truth is worth risking the best friendship he’s ever had.
PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Adams keeps her Bromance Book Club series going strong with this charming third installment (after Undercover Bromance). Computer security expert and former hacktivist Noah Logan is hopelessly in love with his best friend, Alexis Carlisle, the owner of a cat cafe, but fears ruining their existing relationship if he acts on his feelings for her. Noah's friend Braeden Mack offers to help him, inviting Noah to join his all-male romance novel book club, made up of Nashville's most successful men, all of whom are dedicated to "doing the hard work on themselves to overcome a lifetime of toxic masculinity." Braeden hopes that reading some romance "manuals" can guide Noah on how to navigate his relationship with Alexis. Though Alexis's cat, Beefcake, strenuously objects to Noah's presence in their lives, Alexis turns to Noah for comfort in the midst of a family medical crisis, pushing their relationship forward. Despite the emotional subplot about Alexis's family and the inevitable third-act communication issues between Noah and Alexis, Adams keeps things light, focusing on the many colorful members of the bromance book club who advise Noah on how to handle the growing pains of transforming a friendship into a romance. Series fans will be pleased to have another cute couple to root for.

Fun read
This book was laugh out loud funny! And steamy. And romantic. It was a very fun read.
Amazing!!
I’ve fallen in love with every book I’ve read of this series so far. I can’t describe the way it makes me feel to see this kind of representation for non toxic masculinity and close male friendships. I’m rooting for them in every chapter. A perfect balance of comedy drama and romance with a healthy dose of healing. I really appreciate these books!!!
Good romance series
Quirky. Men could learn a lot about women from this series, but the cynic in me thinks not many men would try. There’s always a serious issue under the romance and humor too.
