Creating Pdf Ebooks Using Indesign Cs Files

This is a brief, 3028 words, approximately 13 page, how-to-do e-book that addresses the problem of making quality PDF e-books using InDesign CS.  Many people use InDesign CS to create print-on-demand paperbacks.  You can export that document to PDF, but it will not be suitable for making a quality PDF e-book without modifications. This e-book shows how to make those modifications in InDesign CS so the PDF e-book will be market-ready.


I am a retired physician who got into writing something besides progress notes and prescriptions a few years ago.  I have published 3 non-fiction paperbacks with accompanying e-books also.  I learned the hard way that I couldn't get a good PDF e-book by just using my PDF for my paperback book produced by InDesign CS.  I solved the problem with no help from various resources, even though I sought advice from many.  Therefore, I thought it might be helpful to write an e-book that shows what needs to be done with InDesign CS files so that you can export a market-ready PDF e-book.
