From USA TODAY Bestselling Author Harper Lin: the 6th cozy mystery in the popular series set in a charming beach town!
It's almost Christmastime in Cape Bay, and another murder has everyone in town talking. A despised new drama teacher at the local high school is killed in the school's parking lot. The police arrest a beloved teacher, Mrs. Crowsdale, but everyone else thinks she is too nice to murder anyone. Mike, however, says they have solid evidence that proves she did it.
Sammy is particularly devastated. Mrs. Crowsdale was her favorite teacher and still her hero. Sammy begs Fran to find the real culprit. Fran isn't so sure. Mike would be angry with her for butting in on another case. And what if more danger befalls her? After all, there are some pretty dangerous people in town…

I know you want to discount any review that starts with "I received an advance copy of this book for my honest review. The opinions expressed are my own". The thing is, it is an honest review and deserves the rating I've given. The author is a great mystery writer much like Agatha Christie. Francesca Amaro is once again pulled in to solve a mystery despite not wanting to. You won't understand the Why, Who, and How until the end. I encourage you to read the series from the beginning so you can see the evolving relationship between Fran and her boyfriend Matty (Matteo). You'll also enjoy meeting the other residents of Cape Bay and customers of Antonia's Italian Café where Fran continues to provide great food, drinks(coffee and teas), and stellar customer service as taught to Fran by her grandparents and mother. These are characters you would love to have as friends and neighbors in a town you want to live in. A great afternoon read that you won't want to put down so plan ahead!
A Great Read
Fran tries her best not to get involved. But, being the friend she is it can't be helped. In book six of the Cape Bay Series Fran can't say no to her friend.
Being involved in the community, Fran meets with the High School Drama teacher about snacks for the concession stand. The next day the teacher is dead! With twist and turns, great coffee and sweet cookies you will enjoy this book for start to finish. This just may be the best book yet!
I received an advanced readers copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
