Crescent Wing

Nobody believes in fairy tales. I didn't, either, for the first sixteen years of my life. Now? Well, I am thinking otherwise.


That’s silly, of course. Just because a few of our childhood fantasies are real, it doesn’t mean they all are. I don’t believe in monsters, or dragons, or pixies. I never said that. But my mind is definitely more open now. First came the shock, then the disbelief. Then, pure amazement. The strangest part was that I was one of them! But I’m getting ahead of myself.


My name is Mackenzie Rose, and I live in Reynoldsville, New York. I go to school in a small town and live with my mom and little sister. Everything in my life is normal. 


Or at least...it was.
