In the summer of 1974, I travelled through India and Nepal with a backpack and a low budget. As a member of an underground yoga sect, I encountered the third world up close and personal. It was a journey in search of my soul which nearly cost me my life. From late night police raids to spear toting natives, I experience the underbelly of life in the third world.
