Book On A Serious Subject Used As A Political Vehicle
I'll keep this brief... Of all of the books I've been reading on Critical Thinking so far, I must mention one, one of the best, most expensive, is using this book as a political vehicle to tout the liberal agenda, making pronouncements and suggestions against conservative standpoints against terrorism. I'm out the door to walk my dogs so won't get into the details, but thankfully this is revealed early in the book: Richard Paul and Linda Elder authors of the book Critical Thinking - Tools for Taking Charge of Your Professional and Personal life.
Imagine how diametrically opposed these authors and the subject matter is when they have a political agenda so blatantly displayed that they, themselves, are ignoring the tenants of what Critical Thinking is or what it should be. We have War in our society, That is obvious to me when you read things like this book.
