Critique A Path To Creating Exceptional Photography
I was attracted to this book because I often struggle to leave meaningful comments on the many amazing images I see on the various social networks. I want to be able to give the artist some insight into what the image means to me, but way too many times all I can come up with are the easy comments like beautiful, amazing, or wow.
This book is helping me to make insightful comments, but it's also helping me see that critiquing is a great tool for improving my own photography. As stated in the book “If you critique photography that gives a strong sense of feel, you will start to analyze the aspects of the photograph - the elements and how they are used - to make this happen. You will see a skillful photographer's collection of elements that evoke feelings in their work. And from them, you will learn how to transpose those skills into your own work."
