Crossing The Line

The power over herbs, and her family's position, has always given Sienna a comfortable life. Though widowed and pursued by suitors desperate to claim her name as their own, she is content to spend her days alone, tending her garden and avoiding such greedy demands.

Until she finds a man hiding among her plants.

Cast out and run down, Sele is exactly the thing that would ruin Sienna's reputation, especially with the Elders seeking to promote her for her powers. But each time she kicks him out he finds a way back in, confronting Sienna with her prejudice and with  the rules she's always obeyed. Blindly.

But as their bond grows, and the animosity begins to ebb away, much harsher consequences confront the pair.

And Sienna will be forced to choose between her comfortable, boring life, or the enticing miscreant and all the pain that will come with him.
