CROSSING THE RUBICON

CIA’s Langley Center learns that assassins from several countries are after CIA Agent Dave McClure. They want him dead and buried. After confrontations with agents from China, North Korea, and Hezbollah, a Russian Agent stakes out Dave at this home. In the backyard grilling hamburgers and hot dogs, Dave rises from his seat as his keys tumble out of his pocket. Bending over, a shot rings out and a round streaks over his head. The bullet strikes his young daughter in her shoulder. Dave and his wife, Karen, rush the little girl to a hospital where she is immediately taken into surgery. Dave is enraged. Furious and willing enough to cross the Rubicon, he chases the would-be assassin to Oslo, Norway, up the Norwegian peninsula, and into Russia for a final, violent confrontation. Dave is then called to examine hostile nation interactions in Morocco and the Everglades.
