Crypto Blues

Larry Etaleo is a gifted architect, a boozer and a lousy gambler but his worst habit is pushing people too far. After a week-long bender in Vegas, Larry returns to his Brooklyn apartment almost broke. His employers fire him. His wife Kerry can’t look at him. In a desperate attempt to recoup his losses, and save his marriage, he takes another risk. He gambles on Somnium, a brand new cryptocurrency developed by Max Fur, an ex-Silicon Valley player and a former client of Larry. Together they convince Kerry that Somnium will be bigger than Bitcoin and if they act fast they’ll all strike it rich. Things don’t work out and Larry’s life unravels fast. He always enjoyed a gamble but he never figured his reckless ways could lead to murder and losing the only woman he ever loved.
