Crystal God

Born a slave, he has no name, just a number, etched across the metal plate on his chest: Seven.

He is nothing and nobody. In a world where the Darkspore continues to spread, terraforming the landscape into a place suitable for the arrival of an ancient, primordial God, Seven is just one cog in a machine desperate to stave off the darkness for as long as it can.

Until he's left for dead. Stranded by his comrades in the Spore Reaches, assumed to be eaten alive by the monsters that lurk there.

Only, for once in Seven's sorry life, a good omen presents itself.

Blessed by a stroke of luck, or perhaps fate, he happens upon Prismat, the Crystal Blade: a relic of unearthly power, imbued with the divine energy of Calbreia herself. It is a sword that can only be wielded by one with tremendous strength of will and the tenacity to do what is necessary.

With newfound powers, he's gained the ability to defend himself. But he has a new aim now, beyond mere survival. His goal: to destroy the system that enslaves his people, and to thwart the ancient evil that threatens to consume the whole world.

The balance of power has been upended. Now, the nations of the world are against Seven. The gods are against him. But his mind is made up.

He only hopes that in saving the world, he doesn't become the very thing he hates the most: a God.
