A complete reference when traveling.
It was the perfect 'best' vacation for me and my friends. As explained in the guide Cuba has something for everyone and although at first I thought it was just a communist island, the people are so nice and friendly.
I loved Cuba for the simple feeling of drinking a Daïquiri cocktail invented by Ernest Hemingway. They’ve searched out the best of the best and it's a must read if you are visiting the island.
For travelers who get out of the tourist resorts
I've been to Cuba seven times. I met my wife on the second trip. 99% of tourists never leave the resorts, except for an excursion to Habana Viejo (Havana's old city). Most of the guidebooks are for those people, presenting only the places that tourists go. Of those guidebooks Cuba Island by Journey Guide is the best.
A must-have for anyone going to Cuba Island
I haven't even left yet and already this book has put my mind at ease about travelling to Cuba. There is absolutely everything in there about planning your trip, your route, tips to help you decide where to go, how to get there and ideas of what to do while you're there. There is a section dedicated to each cities to find information on everything you will need to know from where to stay, where to eat and where to have fun. It tells you everything about museums as well as best beaches!!!
