Cuba

CUBA

The world will never know their names. That is precisely the way they want it.

Captain Adélard l'ombre and his Ghost Commandos have spent years operating in the shadows, going where governments cannot admit they have gone.

History, however, has little patience for men needing a moment to rest.

A violent attack at sea draws the commandos into a mission that carries them from the waters of the Red Sea into the mountains of Yemen. What begins as a desperate effort to save innocent sailors soon becomes something far more troubling, leaving Adélard and his men with the unsettling realization that even the world's most highly trained soldiers can come home empty-handed. Before they can recover another crisis sends them across the Atlantic, where the rescue of a terrified young girl leads unexpectedly toward the shores of Cuba.

Their orders seem simple. Do not engage.

But nothing about Cuba is simple.

What the Ghost Commandos uncover there leads them into a world of hidden money, secret alliances and a conspiracy reaching far beyond the Caribbean. The deeper Adélard and Sofia follow the trail, the more dangerous the questions become, until the commandos are forced to confront not only an enemy they never expected, but the line separating what they can do from what they should do.

Filled with brotherhood, humor, romance and explosive action, Cuba is the seventh novel in Fabio Tagliasacchi's Ghost Commando series, a character-driven military adventure where real places, real conflicts and the hidden spaces between recorded events become the stories history will never acknowledge.
