Publisher Description

Byline: Richard Duckett There is always movement in classical music, its venerable image notwithstanding. For example, a symphony has first, second and third (and sometimes more) movements. The Worcester Music Festival had its much heralded 150th celebrations and season (it is the longest continual music festival of its kind in the country) during 2009-10. Then it moved on to the 151st season. On Oct. 14, the 152nd festival will move into gear with a performance by the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.
