He spent most of his corporate life in international business—holding senior management positions in major international consumer goods companies, including the management of their operations in Bahrain. Harvey has lectured on international business including topics such as how to do business in the Arabian Gulf at a number of Universities in Australia. He has also sat on the advisory boards of universities and other tertiary institutions to help develop their international business programmes. Harvey has been a consultant to small and medium sized businesses and has had interim executive assignments with corporations whose primary focus is international business. He is the co-author of Culture Shock! Success Secrets to Maximise Business in Hong Kong, Culture Shock! Success Secrets to Maximise Business in the United Arab Emirates and Culture Shock! A Guide to Customs and Etiquette Saudi Arabia.

Margaret Tripp, a graduate of Deakin University, recently retired as a senior teacher at a leading high school in Australia focusing on the attraction of overseas students. Margaret has travelled extensively throughout the Middle East including Bahrain and has met with a wide variety of decision-makers, both Bahrainis and expats who make up the community. She has a sound understanding of the cultural aspects of life in Bahrain, including the role of women at home and in the workforce. Margaret has been a board member of a small to medium sized Australian company. She co-authored Culture Shock! Success Secrets to Maximise Business in Hong Kong and Culture Shock! Success Secrets to Maximise Business in the UAE.
