CURRY ON !!!! is the latest culinary creation of Chef Naveen Sachar, chef/owner of Naveen’s Cuisine (www.naveenscuisine.com), Chicago’s premier recreational cooking school. Naveen has hosted cooking classes since 2001, and this cookbook features some of his most popular recipes from the classroom, including Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Murgh, Channa Masala, Gobi Matar, and Daal Makhani.

CURRY ON! is divided into 4 chapters. The first is short and sweet — you'll meet the chef, learn about his cooking philosophy, and get an overview of some staple Indian spices and cooking tools. Chapter 2 covers basic food preparation and explains Naveen's preferred techniques in the kitchen. Chapter 3 features recipes for poultry, meat, shrimp, and fish, while Chapter 4 highlights vegetable, lentil, and bean dishes.

I took a class with Naveen and really enjoyed it. My knife skills improved and it turns out that Indian cooking can be pretty straight forward, which is awesome because I love to cook and I love to eat Indian food. Glad to see he has a cookbook out.
Naveen’s recipes are the best!
My first class with Naveen was the beginning of a love affair (sssshhhh) with Indian cuisine. The dishes that we cooked that night are still my favorites and I make them often. And they are in this book! Naveen really makes Indian cooking approachable and, dare I say, easy?! I’m delighted to have a whole volume of his recipes!
A fantastic introduction to the art of Indian cooking
I have attended over a half-dozen cooking classes/dinner parties at Naveen’s Cuisines in Chicago, where Naveen taught me and my fellow classmates/dinner guests how to cook many of the recipes featured in this cookbook. Naveen’s easy-to-follow approach to cooking and his delicious methods of combining ingredients are both on display in CURRY ON!!!!, which I recommend with the greatest possible enthusiasm to anyone seeking an accessible guide to the art of Indian cuisine & cooking.
