Another great romance from Lisa Marie Rice
Charity Prewitt was not expecting the tall, dark and handsome stranger that walked into her life as a boring librarian. But the man that walked in was more than the rich and successful stockbroker he presented himself to be. Nick Ireland was strong and lethal. The Iceman. He was on a mission to find out as much about the town's newest citizen, Vassily Worontzoff, a villain in sheep's clothing and a man obsessed with Charity. What started as a mission for Nick evolves into something he has only heard of but never experienced. Love. For Charity, she tries unsuccessfully to hold back the yearning for more than the earth shattering sex they experience in this whirlwind relationship. Charity's innocence and grace are all that matter to Nick now and he will protect her at all costs against an evil man bent on possessing Charity.
Ms Rice does an excellent job of weaving a spellbinding erotic romance thriller. Her alpha heroes are take charge men and Nick Ireland is no exception. Her heroines are strong in their own right and clearly equal to these headstrong men, as is Charity Prewitt. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to more from her.
