Four weeks before she's set to testify at a gang murder trial, someone is determined to make sure that Candace Gallagher Andrews never takes the stand. When nowhere is safe for the private investigator or her little girl, Candace turns to the only person she can trust—longtime friend and former navy SEAL Marco Quidel. For Marco, protecting Candace is not just another duty. As the trial date nears and the killer stalks ever closer, Marco knows fear for the first time—the fear of losing Candace and her daughter. But while Marco begins seeing Candace as more than just a friend, her late husband's memory is never far from her mind. So he must keep Candace alive—and not get emotionally involved—long enough to put away a killer.

A real nail-biter!

I absolutely loved each and every book in the Pacific Coast series by Dana Mentink, but the newest and last one in the series has definitely been my favorite. As each book in the series has centered around one of the Gallagher sisters, Dangerous Testimony is no exception. Candace Gallagher Andrews is the key eye witness at a gang murder trial. Members of that gang make it their mission that Candace will not make it to that trial alive to testify. She turns to Marco, a friend and former Navy seal, to protect her and her little girl. This book is full of nail-biting edge of your seat suspense that doesn't disappoint. Oh and just the right amount of romance of course! :)

Although this book can definitely be read as a standalone, I would definitely recommend reading the whole series because you will appreciate all the updates this book has about the sisters the other books were centered around.

I was given a copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review.

Couldn't put it down.

Wow! Another book from this author that is the perfect combination of edge of the seat suspense, mystery and romance. Once again, I was hooked from the first pages and couldn't put it down until I finished it. This has been a wonderful series, and I hate to see it end. I definitely will be looking forward to see what she comes up with next. I was given a copy of this book by the author, but a positive review was not required. The opinions expressed are my own, and I definitely recommend this one as well as the rest of the series to the reader who enjoys the best in Christian suspense and romance.
