As Dr. Grace Evans worked her way from war zones to natural disasters, a mysterious man was always watching over her.
Co-workers at the international relief organization joked that she had a guardian angel. Over the years, she’d come to trust him, despite not knowing his name or how he knew what he did. But if he said it was too dangerous for her team to stay where they were, they left.
Until one day, Grace goes too far, and her mystery man doesn’t get there in time. Held hostage by a dangerous dictator, there’s only one man who can save her.
And this time, there’s no hiding who he is or why he’s always watched over Grace.
What an edgy, book with so much intrigue, bad characters and strong good characters all wrapped up in a seriously delicious book. Two thumbs up!
I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the characters and how they were developed. Each character is interesting. I found myself looking forward to finding out more about them. Keep them coming.
Really enjoyed the story of Grace and Sean
The story of Grace and Sean is intriguing, scary at times, and very romantic at times. So much history between the two that Grace doesn’t even know. Her trauma have made her put her emotions in deep freeze except for her hero who is always there for her. The secrets come out and she panics and immediately starts to pin blame until unhappiness makes her realize that there is no one to blame for the loss of her family much less the man who have watched over her for 10 years.
