Semantics
Great writing, wonderful story line. But, to keep it colloquially correct ranch is a term used out west, farm or plantation is the term used in South Carolina.
Love the Plot Twist
Great book - the characters are well rounded, the back stories are well told, and the suspense is better than ever.

Darcy, a new business being a wedding planner, and thoughts maybe of a wedding with Brooks.She came from a dysfuctual family so when Brooks Dad made an offer, she didn’t put much thought into it, except to say no, and to tell Brook tonight. His jaw and angry look said it all, he believed his dad,who been married how many times, she wouldn’t defend herself.
Learning the truth, he wondered if he was beyond redemption, with her.
What follows, is a love that hadn’t died, a planner for Savages wedding, and we have bad guys. This has it all, characters from some of her other books, and how Brooks won Darcy back, a winner once again for Katie.
