Daniel’s romantic prospects are heating up this summer—and not just because of the California sun.

Last year at camp, Daniel made friends and enemies, had his first kiss, and came out to a bunch of people he’d never met. And he didn’t just survive all that—he thrived. So, he should feel a lot more comfortable this time around. Right?

But pulling up to camp brings a flurry of unexpected doubts. The worries pop up before he even steps off the bus. Will his friends still like him? Will his ridiculously hot roommate forget about him because of a girl? Will he do something stupid when he sees his nemesis again? Approximately two seconds into the summer, Daniel’s already sweating. Maybe a new relationship is just what he needs to take his mind off of nagging worries and intrusive romantic ideas that are better left to his dreams.
