Dan’s Christmas

It’s late on Christmas Day, a storm is rolling in, and Old Dan the dog bolts from the yard into the bush. Wet and alone, he’s taken in by Henry Roo, and inside a hollow tree he finds a party: Katie Koala and her baby, Snuffle the Wombat, Charlie the Crow, Possum, Wilbur the Wallaby, and Kookaburra with a mighty good joke. A rhyming Australian Christmas story written and illustrated by Maree Birch, the companion to Christmas Down Under.
