Ace and King
The stakes are higher for Ace and King in this book. This time Ace trumps King as he needs her to gain an advantage. There's some twists and turns that I didn't see coming, and I wonder where these ideas came from (or maybe I don't want to know), but this book had me on edge trying to figure out how the house of cards was going to fall. So ruthless but fun!
I loved the next installment of this series. I can’t get enough of Ace and Kingston but now it gets even more intense. I so want to dive into the next book.
I love Kingston and Ace. Things are not always black and white. Kingston is definitely not all bad. He’s in a small way like the Dark Knight of the mafia. While I love them both Ace is my favorite of the couple. The amount of pain and abuse she went through is so terrible it just guts me but Ace is resilient, strong and courageous beyond belief. Ace would willingly face down her nightmares and risk herself to save the lives of others. She’s a pretty awesome individual.
This part of Ace and Kingston’s journey had me gripping the edge of my seat while trying to figure out what the final out come would be. I enjoyed the twists at the end. It was definitely a surprise.
I can’t wait for the next book.
