The Refuge is home to some of the most violent beings in the universe. unique and fascinating story
wow what a unique world the writer has created. It took me in and held me captivated. The characters were well developed and their arcs well done. The steamy scenes were very dark and the violence had me skimming paragraphs, too gory for me. However, they were perfectly juxtaposed with the characters' personalities.
Dark thoughts
One of the best alien romances I’ve read. Liked the characters. Ok story. Steamy sex scenes. Will consider reading more in the series for sure.
