Publisher Description
“You're probably one of the best hackers who isn't hiding out in an embassy in London.”
Little more than a day after the national election, convicted cyber-criminal Dennis Fitzroy finds himself approached by disgraced MP Wenda Brewer on behalf of ASIO. What she asks is risky – breathtakingly so. To challenge the company, globally acknowledged as the dominant force behind the internet, would be playing with fire in the most dangerous way.
How could he resist?
James Caulfield's 'Dark Web' is the Winner of the 2016 Goulburn SPYfest short story competition.
Customer Reviews
An unoriginal but readable book for wet dream deep-state conspiracy theorists
It’s ok, i guess. Have been done before, it’s not breaking any ground in terms of techno-thriller, mystery but especially for a high schooler, it’s good. Most teenagers nowadays i find extremely uninspired and boring, but i can assure you that: James is definitely not a boring idiot.
