Why read fairytales when there's 46 billion light years of space to explore?
Dark — A bedtime Non-Fiction, is a short children's poem intended to capture the attention of young, inquisitive minds through the dazzling imagery of space, while at the same time introducing them to various astronomy facts and basic scientific principles.
Enchanting and engaging.
Very enjoyable children's book with great images. The poem within is clever and well used. I liked that the book has almost no format and lets the images do the talking. The link to past of our universe presented by the book was fascinating. I think that in a distant future Josh's book will still be enjoyed by many.
Exactly what I have been looking for in a children's book. The pictures were amazing and the poetry was well thought out. The material used was extremely educational while still remaining entertaining. My son greatly enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading it again in the future.
