Darkest Hour
I received a free copy from the author and is willingly giving my review. It was an interesting read with the typical plot. Tom was forbidden to date Chelsea, by her dad, the president of the USA, who hired him to protect her. Of course he can’t resist her and got in trouble. It had a decent plot development toward the end where he end up saving her. It is a series book, so it ended on a cliff hanger but it was a very soft cliff hanger. All in all it was a decent read.

omg omg omg this book is so good absolutely in love definitely reading the entire series after this. worth the read.
Surface Level
I usually am a fan of Lexi Timms, but this book was not up to her usual standards. I thought it was very surface level. There was no emotional connection or chemistry built up between Tom and Chelsea. I felt the characters were thrown together and we as readers were just supposed to go with it.
