Order of the blade
This series is awesome. Ian's story was fantastic. Can hardly wait for Rys story. Thank you Stephanie Rowe.
Good but too mushy at the end
Usually there is much more adventure and fighting! Perhaps we will get to know Cardiff better later, but the wizard hanging out looking over the ocean for his dead love, along with people walking on the ocean floor even if one is a Calydon, spouting love and what nots, got a little boring.
I was hoping for wizardry that didn't involve a wand or purple lights.
Okay, aside from Harry potter meets little mermaid meets a chivalrous medieval seeming wizard-kight searching for his maiden in the ocean fog, I also felt like the writer was as much in love with the couple as they were with each other. Still, the book was pretty good. It really managed to make me burn to read ryland's and Thano's story.
I accidentally skipped Kane's story because the order isn't clearly listed. I read the novella and assumed this was next! Wrong! But luckily the writer didn't reveal too much so I feel I can still go back and read it (which I just downloaded).
Recommend all the books. They are pretty fun ;)
