Beware
Good book but there are 3 books in the series to finish the story

It was good. The book ends on a cliffhanger that was definitely not necessary for the plotline and was purposefully written to force you to buy the other books.

But she cannot tell her roommate who also works with them. They say “ILY” to each other and shortly thereafter things fall apart. Then the book ends. You must read the next 2 books to find out what happens.
