Great read. Interesting characters and plot.
Ummm so weird
The unnecessary pedophilia in this book is crazy. It’s just so bad I get dark themes but it’s just like beyond that. I had to stop reading because it was just so poorly written. I’m annoyed I can’t return it
Confused
Daughter of the Blood is the first book in the Black Jewels series and I don’t think this was the best way to start off a new series. This story has its ups and downs. It was really confusing at times and there were just so many points of view to keep up with that if you weren’t paying attention it was extremely easy to get lost or keep track of all the characters' perspectives. I don’t quite know what to make of this story. There were times when I enjoyed it and other times it wasn’t something I enjoyed reading and was having a really difficult time getting through it. The author has so many other amazing stories that I think she just missed the mark on this one.
