Seven hundred years ago, a Black Widow witch saw an ancient prophecy come to life in her web of dreams and visions.
Now the Dark Kingdom readies itself for the arrival of its Queen, a Witch who will wield more power than even the High Lord of Hell himself. But she is still young, still open to influence—and corruption.
Whoever controls the Queen controls the darkness. Three men—sworn enemies—know this. And they know the power that hides behind the blue eyes of an innocent young girl. And so begins a ruthless game of politics and intrigue, magic and betrayal, where the weapons are hate and love—and the prize could be terrible beyond imagining...

Give it time
Hard to get into it’s really complex but if you can make it through it is so SO worth it!
Confused
Daughter of the Blood is the first book in the Black Jewels series and I don’t think this was the best way to start off a new series. This story has its ups and downs. It was really confusing at times and there were just so many points of view to keep up with that if you weren’t paying attention it was extremely easy to get lost or keep track of all the characters' perspectives. I don’t quite know what to make of this story. There were times when I enjoyed it and other times it wasn’t something I enjoyed reading and was having a really difficult time getting through it. The author has so many other amazing stories that I think she just missed the mark on this one.
❤️❤️❤️
I adore this book and the entire series. It makes me laugh makes me cry. The author breathes such life into the characters and beautifully weaves the story. Every time I reread this books I’m impressed with them. I’m so excited to see that the series is continuing and I’m very happy to reread the series again to prepare for reading the new books.
