I've always wanted to go to the south of France, and I'm an amateur photographer, so I thought this book would be perfect. Different than the usual travel guide, this book offers practical tips for planning your trip, equipment preparation and destination information. It has just enough history to suit my taste and advice for what to see in the major cities. It covers Nice, Cap Ferrat, Antibes, Cannes, Grasse, Monaco and Monte Carlo.
The photographs are amazing. Using the most of the interactive format, each chapter has great scenery and detail images and you can enlarge the pictures to full screen with just a tap. There are also instructive images using the new HDR-High Dynamic Range- Imaging. These images gave me even more inspiration to travel.
At only $4.99, this is a "must have" book, even if you only want to see the gorgeous pictures.
I'm going to go buy the first the book now, so I can learn more about choosing and using my camera before I go.
