DC Photo Book

DC Photo Book: An Insider's View of Washington, DC is a full-color photographic book featuring photographs of DC spanning three decades. The photographs are exclusive never-to-be duplicated images taken by photographer Stephen R. Brown on assignment for national and international magazines.


The National Mall is featured including: the United States Supreme Court, the United States Capitol, the National Gallery of Art, the National Museum of the American Indian, Pennsylvania Avenue, the National Archives, the Sculpture Garden, the National Air and Space Museum, the Hirshhorn Museum, the Smithsonian Castle, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, the Washington Monument, The White House, the World War Memorials, the Tidal Basin and Cherry Blossoms, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. 


DC Photo Book also spotlights points of interest in Arlington, VA including: the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, the Marine Corps War Memorial, the Pentagon Memorial, the Air Force Memorial and Arlington Memorial Bridge. 


The third and final section is titled “The District” and features photographs and information on: Dupont Circle, Washington National Cathedral, Dumbarton Oaks, Georgetown, C&O Canal, Georgetown Waterfront, the Kennedy Center, Chinatown and Penn Quarter, Nationals Park, Southeast Development, The Awakening, Union Station, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, Washington Dulles International Airport and Kilroy.
