de Sade & Grimm, An Enchantment of Leaves

I must get this medicine to Uncle.

She climbed the pile of green leaves in her way. Her exertion released a grunt.

At the top, she fell deep inside the belly of the leaves, up to her waist.

Was there a hole?

She worked to climb out, pushing down on the leaves in front of her, while keeping the bottle of medicine in her hand.

Ew! The leaves were slimy.

Struggling to push herself out only sank her deeper, to her chest.

A cold hand wrapped around her ankle.

What in the name of Hell's demons?

She worked to get out of the pile of leaves, but the hand yanked her deeper inside. Now she was up to her neck.

She panted, her heart hammering to the tune of her fear.

Wet leaves clung to her thighs under her smock.

Vines underneath came alive, twisting and curling around her legs. She gasped, both startled and entranced by the sensation. What could she do to escape?

She clenched her fists, making sure to keep a good hold on Uncle's medicine. 

"Help! Someone help me!"

But her cries did nothing. The forest was empty except for the hand that held to her ankle, if that was indeed a person.

Could she move? Could she wriggle her way out?

She tried. Cold, slick leaves pressed against her legs and torso.

The vines, now entwined around her limbs, moved with a gentle, rhythmic motion, gliding across her skin with a tender touch that sent goosebumps across her body. The leaves brushed against her, their velvety texture stimulating an unwanted delightful warmth within her chest. Her breathing grew heavier as the vines continued their dance, wrapping around her waist and sliding up her torso.

She squirmed, working to escape, but the hand on her ankle tightened. No way out.
