Great bundle of stories!
Selena is working a job as a barista which she hates after dropping out of nursing school. On a particularly busy and bad day a strange woman comes in and tells her that she’s her king lost aunt Blair. Blair invited Selena to come work and live at her B&B in Starfall Valley. Even though neither her friend Jadis nor she can find any internet trace of Blair they decide to take a chance and join her. Turns out Aunt Blair is really Uncle Bob that her family lied to Selena about, told her he died. Blair takes them to a magical new world literally. Once ensconced in the inn Selena begins developing her own magical powers which comes as a bit of a shock. The two friends find a family and a home where they are loved and accepted.
A great bundle of cozy, paranormal mysteries. Selena and her wacky family are hysterically funny. I love the fact that through thick and thin they stay together no matter what. I have read books later in the series and I especially loved seeing how Selena’s journey began.
