Well that was something
For my first splatterpunk book I’ve read, I would say it was pretty decent. The gore was goring. The ending was pretty fierce and I kinda did guess that that was how it was gonna be during the bar scene.
The main character def gave incel vibes and I would get annoyed when he kept saying the same things over and over again. But I will start saying “I have to check the monitors” as a vocal stim lol.
Overall, it was good!
Horrible Book
I wish I hadn’t read this book. I hated it and hated myself for seeing it through to the end. It was like a train wreck and I couldn’t look away. I felt like I shouldn’t be reading it, like I was going to end up on a watch list. Read it if you want to ruin your day. I gave it three stars because it held my attention, but I couldn’t bring myself to give it more than that. I’m going to go touch grass now.
ehhh it’s the first book i read in a while
it was okay a little too much at some points for my liking, didn’t really have a good plot but ehh. i just finished reading it cause i bought it :/ it’s something to read if you like gore and cheesy performative males that act hard idk tho just my honest opinion
