A lot of action packed inside a short read.
Stig is a lonely dragon, forced into a life of solitude. He must protect himself , and his brotherhood from dying at the hands of ancient dragon hunters called knights. He doesn’t mind living alone, as long as he can keep his beast contained during Mating season—
They cora shows up on his doorstep, in desperate need of sanctuary. She’s gotten in with some really bad guys, and needs help and safety.
She can’t be there, but Stig can’t tell her no. There’s a pull between him, that neither one of them can resist.
This book was my very first dragon shifter, and I can honestly say that it won’t be my last. I am intrigued by this world. The lore, the instincts, the Anatolia, and the heat! The chemistry is undeniable between these characters, and even the side characters draw you in. I was very into this story. It was an amazing start to a new-to-me genre. A beautiful love story with a modern, yet old timey feel. I definitely recommend this book!
It could be better.
The idea of people who shape shift into dragons is really cool. The story could have been better. The characters got to the important part before the real story could unfold. The story for the characters did not have any build up and the characters did not develop. The story is really short and to the point. This could have had more of a build up to the climax for the characters and more of a deeper plot. The only interesting part that kind of save this story is the idea of shape shifting dragons.
