A YA classic you’ll re-read your whole life
Dealing With Dragons (Book 1 of 4 in the Enchanted Forest Chronicles) is a true gem. I was first introduced to the series at about 15, and nearly two decades later, I’ve read them more times than I can count.
The story is fun and engaging, and moves the plot along quickly. The plots are not complex enough to have glaring plot-holes, and the characters are an absolute delight. Its told in a classic fairy-tale format, but with a delightfully modern view of women and leadership.
If you’re looking for something to read that is full of joy, and will spark the imagination (even if you’re an adult and find you don’t use imagination much these days), pick up a copy. I can’t say enough good things about this story.
